Day 9 didn’t work exactly as planned but it worked out just fine. I met some great people and fellow cyclists that were of great help and company. A friend of mine Jamen got me in touch with one his friends here in Denver, Scott. He picked me up in downtown Denver where we loaded the bike up and went to The Elm.

Scott bought my beer and fed me. They ended up having trivia that night and a couple of Scott’s friends from Golden came down for a few beers as well. It was good social interaction that I needed.  Alex and Justin, good luck on your tour coming up.

I cruised around downtown Denver earlier in the day to check things out and I gotta say that Denver is a great bike friendly city.

Thank you Scott and Chris for the hospitality and letting me crash on such short notice.

Day 10 is here and I’m gonna push for some good distance today.
