Day 13: A short, yet, sweet ride

Day 13, Saturday, was a short ride from, just East of Cotopaxi, to Salida.  2 and a half hours on a gradual climb.  The shoulders were tiny but not much traffic made it enjoyable.  I was told, I picked a good time to travel through because the tourist season was winding down, so there aren’t as many vehicles on the road.  I’m have thought, throughout the trip, that everywhere I’ve been and every time I’ve been there, is supposed to be.  I have had more deja vu on this ride, it’s a little trippy.

From the places that I go, to the people I meet.  I have been there before, I have met them, already. Forgive me while I get deep here.  I feel like I am in tune with my surroundings and that this path I have chosen, is correct, for me.  The countless times I have seen these places and met these people before, makes me think we are capable of traveling, unknowingly, or knowingly, by way of our minds and thoughts. We are an amazing species that can do more than we realize. Listening to the river and talking with the stars at night, the sky by day, and slowly becoming even more connected with everything. This trip has been a cleansing of sorts, and also a great awakening for my mind.

I challenge you guys to take, if even for one day, take a break from the grind, go outside and explore. It is like a shower for your brain. This Universe has a lot to offer us, so let it in. Let it all in.

  1. I here what you are saying. It is weird when you get into a groove like that. The journey is always worth the reward. Wish I could be out there with you. Be safe and enjoy the moment
