Friday was another solid day on the road. I changed my route plan this morning. Instead of riding south to Kansas from McCook,NE I stayed on Hwy 6 and took that into Colorado.
The whole day was gorgeous got some free pineapple, coconut, angel food cake in Heigler, NE the sun was shining and the roads weren’t too busy. I made it from Benkelman, NE to Yuma, CO I pulled into Yuma around 4:15.
My dad helped me out and set me up with the Yuma fairgrounds maintenance man, Bud. An old hard working man that set me up in here for the night. I’ve got shelter and a shower. Even though it looks like a jail house cell, minus the steel doors. It’s secure and clean.
Tomorrow I push for Fort Morgan, CO

Yeah, that Dad of your’s is a pretty good guy. LOL..
